Ring Designs

The rings that are shown in this small collection are fast thoughts based on a previous ring that I designed.

I thought I would show a few other concepts in this style keeping them simple without to much elaboration.

The theme has basically a center layout with a thin wire sub support in there shanks.

The shanks are all derived from the same concept , a double wire concept giving some volume without mass. this is a very light weight concept.

Another thing that should be noticed is when I was doing the rough layouts I noticed that there might be an interesting concept that could develop if I used a mirror showing a reflection of the first style .  When I turned the mirror at different angles it stimulated my imagination to see a new concept.
Can you se those concept in these designs shown on this page.

What I would like to offer in the next layout sheet are the different side views and how I do those layouts.
I hope you might find this interesting.

Working with Lord Jasper May

Lord Jasper and I are here talking about the market that he is working in and that market is very conservative. The simplicity of lines is very important because the English client is not apt to be very dynamic. It doesn’t mean that they are out od step with the world but actually prefer that the do their own thing. So needless to say we try to keep it on track and below are a few examples of that conservative styling. Please take the time to listen to Lord Jasper and I as we chat about what we do and how it works.
